Tonight we had some of my good friends over for dinner. Chase, Allison, and their little girl Brantley came over to hang out and enjoy some yummy food. We had a great night of catching up and laughing with them. I love when we get together it is always so much fun! We can’t wait to have them over again!!

Grant’s Birthday 2/15/12

Well Grant’s birthday is the day after Valentines day so I always have a busy week!! This year I planned everything for his party! I was so proud of myself. I got everyone together to go eat at Leonardo’s at 6:30. Then we were going to come back to my house since it was so close and have cake and ice cream followed by presents. It was a nice evening and the food was yummy!! I hope he enjoyed it!

Valentines Day 2/14/12

This Valentines Day was very low key but very special! Grant and I decide to stay in and cook since we knew it would be crowded anywhere with out reservations. He came over after I got off work and we were going to do gifts first and then start cooking!! I had his all set up nice and neat and he loved it!! He had all mine in a box with little special notes on it! (Hint The Vow) We cooked steaks, potato fries, and I had asparagus and he had green beans. After dinner we put in a movie and relaxed on the couch! It was a nice romantic evening!!

Mercedes Marathon

MERCEDES MARATHON!!! 

Each year all of the teachers at West will volunteer our time to get up early one Saturday morning and hand out medals to kids that participate in the Mercedes Marathon. We had a great time but it was freezing this year. I am so glad that I work with wonderful people!!

Saturday night I went to my friend Courtney’s wedding reception. Her and Patrick were married on Jan. 21^st at a private ceremony just for family. I was so thankful to be invited to her wedding reception. It was a fun night. It was at a country club off of Grants Mill Road. I am not sure the name of it. We enjoyed wonderful yummy food and cake. They had a live band, which was Courtney’s uncles band. They were fun and entertaining. I enjoyed catching up with everyone and relaxing. Courtney looked beautiful in her white dress. She and Patrick look so in love and I am so happy they found each other. I wish them nothing but happiness.
