The Bennett's Wedding!!

May 21, 2011

Mr. and Mrs. Brent Bennett

My grand-little Melissa had been dating Brent ever since their freshmen year of college, so I knew one day they would end up Married. Well that day finally came, and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. She was married in the Hargest Chapel in Chelsea and had the reception at the same location. Melissa was absolutely beautiful!! I can’t believe she is married, but I am so happy for the two of them.

Wish them the best of luck!!

Congratulations Brent and Melissa Bennett!!

Girls Night with MY SORORITY SISTERS!!

Some of my favorite girls came into town for the weekend for my grand little’s wedding. So of course we got everyone together and went out on the town. We went to dinner at Moe’s down in lakeview then headed around town and ended the night at NANA FUNKS!!! The best part of the night is that somehow we ended up saying it was my sister’s bachelorette night, so we got in free everywhere we went. (It wasn’t really her bachelorette weekend) It was a great night and we were all very tired the next day, we forget sometimes that we aren’t in college anymore. HAHA

The Brumbeloe Wedding

May 14, 2011

Mr. and Mrs. Brumbeloe

One of my sister’s best friends got married this weekend. Kristen and Daniel had a beautiful afternoon ceremony at Dawson Church. Then had a nice reception at The Club. The food was wonderful and they had a perfect band to set the tone of the reception. Outside of the reception was the best part, a Photo Booth. You could dress up in whatever items they had and take four picture. You were given a picture frame with a copy of the pictures as a favor. LOVED LOVED LOVED this idea. Kristen looked beautiful and just was grinning from ear to ear the whole time. I was so thankful to be apart of her big day.

Congratulations Daniel and Kristen!!!!!

Headed out West!!

Texarkana

May 6-8

The whole family piled into Sarabeth’s car to travel the 9 hour drive to Texarkana, Texas to visit Scott’s family and have a bridal tea given by Scott’s Mothers Church Ladies. It was going to be one packed weekend but totally worth it.

We arrived around 6:00 Friday night, and headed to dinner at a delicious Mexican restaurant in town. Before going to eat we had to go to the state line where you can stand in both Arkansas and Texas at the same time, so you are in two places at once. We were all very tired after dinner that we went straight to the hotel and went to sleep.

Saturday we woke up very early got ready and drove around town before heading to a great place for lunch. They had the best juicy burger and wonderful fries I have ever had. We then headed to the church for Sarabeth’s first bridal tea. It was so sweet and wonderful!!! She got some great stuff and I can’t wait to start borrowing her stuff!!! That night we went to a wonderful Steak/Seafood place called PIER 57 and was absolutely delicious.

Sunday was Mother’s Day and it was great to celebrate it with Scott’s family as well as mine. I know Scott really enjoyed seeing his mother on this day. We all went to breakfast before heading back to ALABAMA. I have the best mother in the world. She is not only my mother and role model, but also my best friend.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!! I LOVE YOU MOMMY!
