We got tickets the week of for $20 dollars to go to the ZBB friday night at Verizon. We had a great group of friends who all wanted to enjoy a wonderful summer night listing to great music. We all met up at the Gold's Gym parking lot to ride together and go get something to eat before heading to the concert. We had some great chips and salsa and a few drinks!!! Then all piled back in the Gravy Boat and headed to the main event for the night the ZAC BROWN BAND CONCERT!! Our tickets were general admission so that means sit anywhere in the third tier. We got our seats and settled in to watch to show. It was very hott but cooled off as the night went on. The opening acts were great my favorite was Joey and Rory who I absolutely love now. We all had a wonderful night!!

Family Beach Trip

Each year my family tries to go to the beach during the summer to enjoy family bonding. This year we could only go for a short time but at least we got to go and enjoy the time together. My uncle graciously opens his condo at Orange Beach for us to enjoy. We had a great time of bonding and relaxing with one another. We played cards, worked on puzzles, read books, cooked meals, and got our beginning summer tan. Overall the weekend was great and I always enjoy the time I spend with my family. We didn’t really take many pictures because it was a lazy/relaxing weekend.

Sips and Strokes!

I have found a new passion!!! I have never thought of myself as a painter or even enjoying to paint, but I have come to realize that I love it! One of my good friends and I have been to sips and strokes a couple of times this month and have really enjoyed it. So tonight we went back and we were going to paint a Zebra cross. Well everything was going great and it was turing out just the was it was suppose to be, but then we came to the last part making the zebra stripes. I started making them and got a little carried away with the black. Then I started doing my own thing and it turned out way opposite of the zebra stripes. It looked more like one of those pictures where you break something into little pieces and glued them together. I absolutely loved the way it turned out, even better than what it was suppose to look like. We had a great girls night and are planning the next one which will be another cross but this time a little funky. I love my girls nights!!

A Day at the Lake!!!

Memorial Day

I enjoyed a wonderful day at the lake with great friends and an amazing second family. My best friend in the entire world invited me to the lake for the day and of course I went. We left bright and early that morning and arrived around 10 at the lake house to find everyone asleep. Everyone quickly woke up with me being there, because we know there is so being quiet with me around. HAHA. We enjoyed the day by sunbathing, riding the boat, tubing, wake boarding, and relaxing. Just what I needed that day. Before we headed home we enjoyed a wonderful meal of BBQ and baked beans, and chips!! I was exhausted when we got home and went to bed.

Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Kimbrel

Ashley and Jeremy met not many months ago but they new from the first moment they met that they were soul mates and wanted to share their lives together. Jeremy popped the big question to Ashley in February and started the journey of planning their perfect wedding. Even though the weather was not the greatest Ashley and Jeremy would still have the greatest wedding. The wedding was held at Alridge Garden in the front of the house where there is a pathway that leads to a beautiful Archway where the two were married. The nasty weather stopped for the ceremony but then continued all through the reception, which was held under the pavilion. It was perfect to hear the rain all around us coming down as we danced the night. We enjoyed food, music, and dancing with the newlyweds.

Sips and Strokes!!

My friend Nicole and I went to Sips and Strokes for a girls night out! We had a blast together as always. This was our first time to go together and we became hook. We were very nervous after looking at the picture we were going to paint. We were painting two funky margarita glasses. We just kicked back and started painting not caring what we were doing, and our paintings turned out great. It was a fun night and we were already planning many more time to come back.

Ashley’s Bachelorette Night

We all went out to enjoy Ashley last Saturday night as a single gal. We started off with dinner at Cocinia Superior Grill at Brookwood then headed downtown to enjoy the rest of the night. We went downtown to Rogue Tavern to enjoy drinks and music with all the girls. We had a great time dancing and singing, and enjoying Ashley’s last night of freedom. HAHA

Love you Ashley, one more week and you will be MARRIED!!
